7 dead, 11 injured in east China road accident

FUZHOU, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Seven people died at the scene and 11 others were injured when a bus crashed into a car on an expressway in east China`s Fujian Province early Wednesday, police said.
The bus, carrying 46 people, was en route from Putian to Zhangzhou when it crashed into a car and overturned on an interprovincial expressway in Quanzhou City at around 1 a.m., said a traffic police officer in Quanzhou.
He did not identify the victims.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, he said.
